Brick + Beam Detroit is a 2015 Knight Cities Challenge winner and is made possible by support from the Knight Foundation. The project is a collaboration among Preservation Detroit, Detroit Future City, and the Michigan Historic Preservation Network, represented and led by three of Brick + Beam’s original cofounders.

B+BD is supporting Detroit property owners, tradespeople, and building rehabbers of all levels to achieve rehabilitation and reinvestment in the city. In this shared community, Detroiters are finding the resources, advice, and friendly support they need to sustain their reinvestment projects.
